Eco-Friendly Homes

Where It's Needed Most

Building Homes for The Community

Heartland Homes donates environmentally friendly building materials to help build up underprivileged communities. Hempcrete, and other bio-based building materials, can help develop sustainable housing at scale.

Foundational Materials

The evolution of humanity comes down to a handful of foundational materials. Concrete allowed us to build high-rises, copper allowed us to harness electricity, and silicon allowed us to create microchips.

The next frontier of material science will require a compound that unlocks hundreds of high-value use cases that span across every market sector.  The hemp plant provides more structural integrity for less cost than thousands of existing materials in almost every market.

The Future of Construction

Industries that have traditionally relied on synthetic materials are investing in plant-based alternatives because the production of these materials is dirty, unsafe, and unsustainable.

Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) investing is overtaking boardrooms as executives realize that they have a responsibility to make sustainable and ethical investments.

Hempcrete Is Pest Resistant

A Simple Formula For Everyone

Hempcrete is made from three ingredients: hemp hurd, lime, and water. Although there are different mixtures, the traditional solution is 4:1:1 four parts hemp hurd, with one part lime binder, and one part water.

Added all together the three ingredients form an efficient and durable material that can be made in almost any shape. It is aesthetically pleasing, and mixes well with stone, wood, tile, and other building materials. We primarily produce two main products.

Bags of Hempcrete

Hempcrete bags are 80 pound mixture of hemp hurd and lime. These bags are mixed with two gallons of water before they are set.

Hemp-Based Cinderblocks

Cinderblocks made out of hemp are stacked and staggered to create structures that stand the test of time. These work best with hemp-based rebar inserts.

Less Expensive Than Traditional Concrete with More Strength.

Hempcrete Has Lower Costs, Maintenance, and Carbon Footprint Than All Other Alternatives

A 100% Natural Alternative

Thermal

Thermal mass assists temperature control in low and high temperatures.

Humidity Regulation

Hempcrete absorbs humidity, and helps to make sure that moisture is removed from the air.

Fire Resistant

Hempcrete is flame retardant, ensuring that houses don't burn down for decades.

Acoustic Regulation

Hempcrete insulates the sound from going out, and prevents the sound from outside.

Earthquake Resistant

Hempcrete withstands earthquakes better than any other building material.

Water-Proof Shell

Hempcrete creates a shell around a home, protecting it from water damage and mold.

Hempcrete is an environmentally friendly and cost effective alternative for people who are looking for stronger, longer lasting building materials.
